Root Canal (Endodontics) Therapy

Abscessed teeth have infected tissue (pulp) in the center which causes pain and/or swelling and often require root canal treatment.

During root canal treatment, we open the tooth and remove the infected tissue. We then fill the space and seal the opening. We may place a crown over the tooth to keep it protected.

A tooth that has had a root canal treatment can last a lifetime, so you don’t have to worry about ever having to revisit the treatment in the future. With an appointment, we’ll help you determine if a root canal is right for you or if a different treatment is required.
